J. R. Jet Chiller Systems

Chiller Systems spec sheet (PDF) [size Kb]

Inlet water being fed to the pump is required to be 70° F or below. If inlet water temperature is above 70° F a Chiller will cool the water for the pump. Depending on the rating of the chiller and ambient conditions, the water temperature being fed to the pump can be lowered anywhere from 20° to 40°.

Water from the chiller's charge pump is sent through the chiller and to the waterjet pump. A portion of the water is recirculated back to the chiller's internal charge tank to minimize water usage.

In the event that water temperature exceeds 70°F on a seasonal or regular basis, shortened seal life of the HP pump can occur. A chiller cools this incoming water which in turn improves seal life.
